Please contact us and we'll talk you through the volunteer pathway (outlined below). There will be a short application process including giving permission for a DBS check and agreeing with our Statement of Faith.

We are committed to ensuring that both our volunteers and the schools we work in are clear about the process of becoming an OSC volunteer; we are similarly committed to the safeguarding of both adults and children in our care. We have drawn up this volunteer pathway to ensure a smooth, safe process for all involved:

·        Application form completed and returned to volunteer co-ordinator

·        Two references from people who know the applicant well, including a church leader

·        DBS checked or applied for (dependent on role)

·        Safeguarding training: OSC safeguarding policy to be read, 45 minute online course to be completed, training                  session to be booked in at next available time
